Super Dad Stops Flying Baseball Bat From Hitting His Kids While Keeping His Beer, Without Spilling A Drop

Sometimes, it seems like being a parent automatically comes with superpowers that you didn’t know they existed until you have to use them.

A baseball game almost turned into a disaster when an errant bat came dangerously close to hitting a young boy in the face.

This near-miss occurred during a spring training game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Atlanta Braves when a Pirates player lost his grip on a bat, sending it flying toward the stands.

The bat was travelling at quite some speed as it flew through the air.

While nearby fans flinched and shielded themselves, a dad protected his two sons by swatting the shrapnel away.

Slow-motion footage vividly captures the moment when a massive splinter of a bat hurtled through the air, causing dread among the spectators. It seems that everyone, from the ground staff on the field to numerous others seated in the stands, had their eyes fixed on the approaching bat.

Suddenly, the bat’s path toward the stands was abruptly altered as a vigilant father swiftly reached out and snatched it from the air, diverting it away from danger.

Lightening quick reactions from one dad at a Mets baseball game in New York saw him stopping a baseball bat from slamming his kids directly in the face.

One of the father’s sons turned to gaze up at him, likely in sheer amazement at what seemed like superhuman skills. Meanwhile, the dad remained calm throughout the incident, all the while gripping his can of beer in his other hand without spilling a single drop.

Shortly after this incredible catch, the father became the center of attention for other spectators who recognized that his remarkable catch likely prevented serious injuries to the two young boys.
